Social skills: Participate in class routines in a quite, control manner.

We can use some rhymes from the Phonological Awareness Package related to this topic or social skill. One of my favourites is “Sitting on the floor” to be on the carpet properly sat - I really like this one:




We also have “Everybody have a seat”, which we can use to go from the chairs to the carpet. If we change the word we can use the same rhyme for the opposite process:





One to keep the children quiet (i.e. at the beginning of the lesson) is “Our voices”, whispering lines 3 and 4.
